How to Make an AI Rap Video
Updated
There are two practical ways to do it: the one-photo way with our AI rap video generator, ready in about 10 minutes, or a free CapCut template. Below are both, plus prompt drafts for general video tools and how to add the sound on TikTok.
What is the fastest way to make an AI rap video?
Pick the rap moment, add your photo or photos and pay once. There is nothing to write and no app to install. Start here:

Two cats. One red fence. Your dance. Two cat photos, one cat per photo · 21 s · from $9.99
You in the middle, two side dancers, one hand-in-hand dance. One full-body photo of you for the middle dancer, plus up to two friends or default dancers · 14 s · from $9.99

- Pick a rap moment. Choose Bulin 47, Tiny Desk, Smalltown Boy Cats, Babydoll Dance, Patrick Swayze Dance or Bicep Heart. Each template has a sample to watch first.
- Add your photos. One clear face photo for Bulin 47 or Tiny Desk; two cat photos, one cat per photo, for Smalltown Boy Cats; one full-body photo of you for the middle dancer, plus up to two friends or default dancers, for Babydoll Dance; one full-body photo of yourself for Patrick Swayze Dance; one clear photo of yourself from the waist up, smiling, with both arms in the frame, for Bicep Heart. No sign-up.
- Pay once, get your video. $9.99 for one video. Your 9:16 video is ready in about 10 minutes, to download or share.
Bulin 47 is about 15 seconds, Tiny Desk about 10 seconds, Smalltown Boy Cats about 21 seconds, Babydoll Dance about 14 seconds, Patrick Swayze Dance about 15 seconds, and Bicep Heart about 7 seconds. Tiny Desk is silent only. Bulin 47 includes generated sound following its audio reference; Smalltown Boy Cats and Babydoll Dance include AI-generated music. Bulin 47, Smalltown Boy Cats and Babydoll Dance also include a silent version with no audio track. Patrick Swayze Dance and Bicep Heart include a silent version and an optional original-sound version for personal sharing. If it fails for a technical reason, its credits come back automatically.
How do I make the rap duo AI video?
Here is how to make the rap duo AI video, the orange-booth one with two people at one mic. We do not make it on this site: its track is a released song, and the AI model we use refuses to generate video to it.
- Open our sister site hotellobbytrend.app and add two photos, two people or two pets.
- Download the silent video it makes: the two of you trading the moves at one mic.
- In TikTok, add the Hotel Lobby sound to the silent video before you post.
How do I make the Bulin 47 version?
It takes one photo. Open the Bulin 47 AI video generator, tap Make mine, pick a clear photo of your face and pay once. The scene, the moves and the camera stay as in the Madrid original; your face takes the rapper’s place, mouth timed to the sound.
How to make an AI rap video with CapCut
Free CapCut templates exist for both trends; they run inside the CapCut app and paste your photo into a fixed edit. We have not tested them, so we cannot say how close they get to the original or whether the mouth follows the sound. Template routes generally work like this:
- Open CapCut and search its templates for the trend name.
- Pick a template and replace its photo with yours.
- Export the clip and post it, with the sound if the template does not include it.
It costs nothing, and it is the right choice if a fixed edit with your photo pasted in is enough. Choose a generator instead if you want the moves and the mouth made for your face.
AI rap video prompt drafts
If you use a general AI video tool, start from one of these drafts. They are drafts we wrote for this page from the public originals, not the recipe we use, and we have not run them, so results will vary by tool. Use only photos of yourself or of adults who agreed to it.
Draft 1: the orange-booth duo (two photos)
Vertical 9:16, one continuous shot. The two people from the reference photos stand face to face in a small booth with a plain orange backdrop, sharing one silver microphone that hangs between them. Medium shot at chest height, camera still. They rap back and forth in turn, nodding to the beat, hands moving with the words. Keep each face exactly as in its photo, the first photo on the left. No text, no logos, no watermark.
Draft 2: the Madrid freestyle (one photo)
Vertical 9:16, handheld phone footage at night. The person from the reference photo stands on doorway steps lit in red and raps a freestyle straight to the camera, with small steps and hand gestures on the beat. Close framing, slight handheld sway. Keep the face exactly as in the photo. No text, no logos, no watermark.
Tips: describe one shot, not a montage; say where each person stands; keep the clip short. If your tool makes a silent clip, add the sound on TikTok as below.
How do I add the sound on TikTok?
Tiny Desk downloads are silent. For Bulin 47 and Smalltown Boy Cats, choose the silent copy when you want TikTok’s own sound attached to your post. The same steps work for a silent clip made elsewhere:
- Find a post that uses the trend’s sound and tap the sound name at the bottom of the video.
- On the sound page, choose to use this sound.
- Upload your silent clip and line its first move up with the beat.
- Turn the clip’s own volume down if it has any, then post.
Button names can change between app versions; the steps stay the same.
Which photos work best?
- One person, face clearly visible
- Shoulders up, facing the camera
- Good light, no sunglasses
For portraits, avoid: group photos, face turned away or covered, very dark or blurry. Use one person per photo, yourself or an adult who agreed to it. For Smalltown Boy Cats, use two clear full-body cat photos, one cat per photo, that you have the right to use.
What do you need before you start?
- A phone or computer with a browser. No app and no account.
- One clear photo of one person for the Bulin 47 freestyle.
- Permission from anyone else in your photos. Public figures and minors are not allowed.
- An email address at checkout. The link to your video is sent there.
- About 10 minutes. You can leave the page while the video is made.
What can go wrong, and how do you avoid it?
Most weak results come from the photo. A face turned to the side, sunglasses, a hand over the mouth or a dark, blurry shot gives weaker results, so the face in the video may look less like you. Group photos are on the avoid list too: crop to one face before you upload.
If a video fails for a technical reason, its credits come back automatically, once, and you can try again with the same photo or a new one. Every video is AI-generated, so expect small differences from a real performance, and do not post it as real footage.
How much does it cost, and is there a free option?
One standard video is $9.99 and one HD video is $19.99, paid once with no subscription. Bigger credit packs lower the price per video; see AI rap video generator pricing. There is no free version here; the free route is the CapCut template above. To see what other tools charge, read Best AI rap video generators.
